I thought that I would share with you a few pictures of some of the flowers we have planted this year. Enjoy!
I love the contrast of the yellow petals and the purple centers on these flowers.
I didn't plant the purple flowers in the pictures above, they are actually on a vine that is growing up our front door banister. Aren't they so gorgeous? I am in love and the flowers keep blooming over and over and over again!
Here is my favorite rose, Double Delight. I bet I have planted at least 30+ different roses over the past 12 years. Roses are one of my favorite flowers. Unfortunately I have had to leave all of the roses behind but one every time we have moved (yes, I have moved a lot in my lifetime). Our last move I decided to dig up my favorite rose that my sister bought me and I brought it with me in a planter pot. It is struggling, but I think it is going to make it!
Here is the rose I brought with me.
This is a beautiful white rose bush growing in our yard. As the roses fade they get a slight pink color on their edges.
Here are some more flowers I have planted.
Most of these flowers I planted from seeds indoors. This picture was taken a month ago, so the flowers are finally starting to fill in nicely. I also added a bunch of yellow Snap Dragons to the mix (another one of my favorite flowers). The Blue Salvia showing in the little pot came back from last year. I love the vibrant purple color and what a nice statement Salvia makes!
We planted flowers in two of the planter boxes my husband made me, and vegetables in the other two planter boxes. The little white pot contains strawberries that survived from last year.
We also have raspberries, blackberries, corn, sunflowers, pumpkins, zucchini, squash, peas, and carrots planted around our yard, as well as more and more flowers. Some of the plants are flourishing, others are having a little bit harder time growing.
Do you have pictures of your flower or vegetable garden on your blog? If so, leave a comment with a link to your post and I will stop by and check it out!
Take Care,

One of the things I love about you is that your love of art extends across so many mediums. I love all the variety and colors of your flowers/plants. And the planter boxes are amazing. Art and creativity clearly runs in all the members of your family.
