My New Love for Art and All Things Vintage Blog

Welcome to my new blog, Artistically Shauna! I can't tell you how excited I am to start it. I have a birthday coming up in a few weeks and I have been doing a lot of soul searching of what I want to do in this new chapter of my life. I know that blogging can be at times distracting and time consuming, but for me blogging lets me take a mental break from day in responsibilities and lets me unwind and express myself through written word and pictures.
My Blogging Experience and Adventures Thus Far:
  • I have enjoyed sharing photos and fun memories of my wonderful family on my private family blog since 2007. At times I have gotten behind but I know every opportunity I have to post photos of my daughters and our fun family outings, our relatives that live so far away from us love it!
  • I enjoyed having the opportunity to have a blog for my preschool parents and students when I owned my own preschool. I set up the blog as a private blog for students only and it was a wonderful way for parents to be informed on what was going on in the classroom, as well as see a lot of cute pictures of their children.
  •  Currently I have loved sharing all of the fun educational and artistic ideas I have done with my children and students on my My Shae Noel Blog over the last year. I love doing things with my children and seeing the memories that are made from all of our adventures. It has been fun to see how my blog posts, ideas, and educational freebies have touched a lot of parents, educators, and grandparents.
  • And now my newest blogging journey, Artistically Shauna. This blog is what I would like to say is for my grown up side of myself. I love art. Besides teaching children, it is one of my other passions! I can't wait to share with you artists I admire, artwork I dream of owning, art that inspires me, some of my own art, and great art based websites.  I also love all things vintage. Yep, if it is old, I love it! Sometimes I think that I was born in the wrong time error. Let me spend a day at a antique shop, or an estate sale, or a few moments looking at vintage items on line, or having time to ponder over sentimental things that used to be my grandparents, and boy do you have one happy person! So along with sharing my love for the arts, I can't wait to share with you my love of vintage items as well.
So, here is to a new year, a new adventure, and a lot of fun posts and features you won't want to miss out on.
